SmartColor® Exterior System
The SmartColor® Exterior System has proven performance on the exterior of buildings throughout the United States. SmartColor® products are tested at North America’s largest and most intensive, exposure sites. Additionally, this system must continually pass the industry’s most extreme internal thermal tests where substrates are coated with SmartColor® and then exposed to subfreezing temperatures followed immediately by extreme heat and then subjected moisture. SmartColor® passes a multitude of these cycles. In addition to this extreme testing SmartColor® systems are subjected to extreme exterior exposure testing. After years of exposure to many different environments, this proprietary system remains durable and continues to perform.
The SmartColor® Exterior System is engineered using an advanced resin system with a unique film-building feature to provide a final film 8 to 10 times that of conventional exterior acrylic systems. Through the extreme tests, the SmartColor® systems excels in providing performance in color retention, bond and flexural strength, following acid freeze/thaw and UV radiation exposure
